Books, moves and cancels
All without you putting down the brush. Changes land in the same calendar or booking system you already use.
You're mid-colour with foils in someone's hair. The phone starts ringing. Right now that's a choice between interrupting the client in your chair and losing the one on the line. Valence answers both — books them in, quotes the menu, and takes the deposit.
That number reaches our own receptionist — the same thing we'd build for you. Ask what we charge. Try to book something. Talk over it, change your mind halfway through, ask it something it shouldn't know. Do what a real customer would do and see how it holds up.

A Valence receptionist starts at $200/month. At these numbers, it pays for itself if it saves 1 call a month.
Illustrative only — this uses the numbers you enter, not a claim about your results. Your own call log is the real answer.

Prices, how long each service takes, what's an add-on, what needs a patch test first. It quotes from your actual menu, not a guess.
Sends a payment link on the call so a no-show costs you a gap in the day instead of the whole ticket.
Clients who always see Chloe get booked with Chloe. New clients get whoever has the right slot and the right skill set.
Most people book their hair at nine at night on the sofa. That's exactly when your phone isn't answered — and when this one is.
Cancellation at short notice? It can work the waitlist and tell you who took the slot.

Yes. It knows who does what, who's in on which days, and who a returning client normally sees. If someone asks for Chloe by name they get Chloe's diary, not the first free chair.
For new clients you can set it to spread bookings across the team, or steer them to whoever you're trying to fill.
It sends a payment link during the call and confirms once it's paid. You set which services need one and how much.
If the client doesn't pay, you can have the slot held for a set window and then released automatically, or just flagged to you.
Tell us which one you run before you pay for anything. Some of these connect properly and we can write bookings straight in; others we can only read availability from, and a couple we can't touch at all.
Where we can't write in, the booking comes to you as a text and email you can add in one tap. It's not as slick and we'd rather say so.
You give us the names and their calls go straight through to you, or straight to a message if you'd rather. It never tries to handle a client you've said is yours.
For everyone else it introduces itself as the studio's assistant, so nobody feels they've been fobbed off on a machine pretending to be you.
